I was hesitant when I saw the price on these. I thought that because they were as inexpensive as they were that they might not be very nice. I was wrong! I haven't used them for salt and pepper so I can't say how well they would work for that purpose. I have a dala animal collection and they look good with the rest of my dala animals. I orderd 3 additional sets hoping that they would be gift-worthy. I will have no reservations about giving these as gifts.
