Midsummer in Sweden, celebrated the weekend closest to June 24, is a huge holiday -- second only to Christmas. Central to every celebration is a tall majstång or Swedish Maypole. The scene on this towel includes the maypole, children in traditional Swedish folk dress, a lakeshore cottage and flowers.

The design is woven into the fabric -- no part of it is printed. This cheery towel will bright your kitchen as wall art or a towel. A hanging-loop is attached. About 14" x 20" and made in Sweden of 100% organic cotton.
