The most famous Dala Horses are made in the villages around Mora, Sweden, especially Nusnäs, in the province of Dalarna in central Sweden. Through the years the hand-carved and hand-painted Dala Horse has become a symbol of authentic Swedish handicraft and one of Sweden's most popular souvenirs. These Dala Horses are made at the Grannas A Olsson Hemslöjd in Nusnäs. 4" tall (10cm).

The "Sten" Dala horse is a basic gray color with decorations in white, black, and gray. "Sten" means "stone" in Swedish. Classy, timeless beauty, suitable anywhere.
