This delicious just-add-water mix is perfect for the bread-machine. It works well mixed by hand, mixer or food-processor, too, but will take a bit more attention and rising-time that way. Bread mixes are a great convenience for home bakers, as the special ingredients--in this case, rye flour and spices-- are included. Scandinavian-style rye bread is sweeter than other rye breads. It's good with butter, cheese or jam, toasted or as a sandwich. Low in fat and full of flavor, this moist, dense rye bread is carefully blended with caraway, anise and a hint of orange.
