Hemslöjd's Norwegian Fjord Horse Sign is made of outdoor-grade sign-board. This sign is .5" thick and 12.5" inches tall -- A nice size that can be hung flat against the wall or free-hanging from chains (included)., shaped by our craftsmen and decorated by our folk-artists. We personalize it with your name or a greeting on both sides. Display chains and screw eyes included. Norsk-blue. Our Fjord Horse Sign is weather-hardy and made to be displayed outdoors.

Hemslöjd's Wooden Norwegian Fjord Horse Sign is completely handmade in our workshop in Lindsborg. We start with planks of basswood, then cut out and shape the Dala horses adding extra detailing around the neck and head. Each sign is hand-decorated and lettered on both sides by Hemslöjd's folk-artists. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of this personalized item. Our Dala Horse Sign is weather-hardy and made to be displayed outdoors.

CARE TIPS: Thoroughly wash and dry your sign then brush or spray on a coat of satin-finish water-based polyurethane.

DISPLAY TIPS: Predrill holes for the screw-eyes using a 1/8" drill-bit to prevent splitting of the wood. See the diagram to properly locate the screw-eyes.

PLEASE NOTE! When ordering, please specify the inscriptions you want lettered on both sides (left and right) of your Norwegian Fjord Horse Sign.  Most popular are: family name, "Välkommen" or "Kom igen" ("welcome" or "come again" in Swedish). We can also letter your house number or "welcome" in many other languages. Most inscriptions are limited to 13 characters. Actual design of Norwegian Fjord horse may vary.
