On December 13th in homes, schools, hospitals and offices all across Sweden, Lucia maidens, dressed in white and wearing a crown of candles, bring food, drink and Christmas cheer to all. This custom, popular in Swedish-America as well, isn't complete without a white dress.

Lucia dresses are made by a seamstress here in Lindsborg, KS. Dresses have a lace trimmed neckline with hook and eye closure in the back.
